Summary
Please note that the mission of IBCA means that it is likely to be operational for a period of approximately 5 to 7 years. When IBCA’s work begins to wind down, IBCA employees will receive support and practical guidance to find a new role, whether in the Civil Service, another Arms Length Body (ALB), or an external employer.
The HEO Programme Support role is designed to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the programme management team within the Infected Blood Compensation Authority. This role encompasses responsibility for ensuring effective coordination, documentation, and stakeholder engagement, coupled with challenging elements that demand strong initiative and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities: · Administrative Coordination o Provide dedicated administrative support to the programme team, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and managing documentation. o Assist in the creation of programme documents such as business cases, progress reports, and financial summaries, ensuring compliance with organisational standards. · Monitoring and Evaluation o Maintain and update programme plans, action registers, and milestone tracking tools to support effective programme delivery. o Monitor the programme’s performance against targets and report on progress to the Programme Manager, highlighting areas of concern. · Stakeholder Engagement o Facilitate communication and engagement with stakeholders, including internal departments and external partners, to ensure alignment with programme objectives. o Organise stakeholder meetings and events, ensuring all logistical elements are coordinated and documented. · Risk and Quality Assurance o Assist in identifying programme risks and issues, supporting the implementation of resolution strategies and maintaining risk logs. o Participate in quality assurance processes, ensuring that all programme documentation meets established standards for clarity and accuracy. · Learning and Development o Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes within the programme, sharing insights and recommendations for enhancing efficiency. o Engage in professional development opportunities focusing on programme management and administration. |
