Summary


We have a substantive consultant post available at Hounslow SOAMHS (Specialist Older Adult Mental Health Services) and henceare looking for a colleague with experience of working in older adult mental health services. We want someone to join us who is an excellent clinician, enthusiastic leader and mentor and who is passionate about continuous service improvement.



You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and flexibly with a multi professional team.The role reports directly to the Clinical Director, Medicalh Lead and Head of Operations.

Hounslow SOAMHS is a community team for peopleover 70 with a mental health needs based in the borough of Hounslow in West London. It is a specialist commissioned service with a highly skilled and synergistic multidisciplinary team.

West London NHS Trust is one of the most diverse healthcare providers in the UK, delivering a range of mental health and physical healthcare and community services. The Trust runs Broadmoor Hospital, one of three high secure hospitals in the country, with an international reputation.

Our high secure services care for patients from South of England and we provide low and medium secure services across eight London boroughs.
