Location: Harrow (commutable from Wembley, Stanmore, Ruislip, Pinner, Edgware, and Northolt)
Daily Pay: £95 - £110

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term to permanent
Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and resilient individual who is passionate about supporting children with complex needs and physical disabilities.
About the Role
You will work closely with the EYFS team to provide tailored support to pupils who have a range of additional needs, including global developmental delay, complex medical needs, and physical disabilities. The role will involve:
- Providing one-on-one support to pupils, helping them to access the EYFS curriculum
- Supporting with mobility, positioning, and use of specialist equipment as needed
- Encouraging independence and social development in a nurturing environment
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver personalised learning
- Assisting with behaviour management in a positive and consistent manner
The successful candidate will play an essential role in helping pupils thrive both academically and personally during these vital early years.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in an EYFS or SEN setting
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Understanding of strategies to support children with physical disabilities and complex needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
