As a key part of the team, you will help oversee day-to-day marketing operations, contributing to the planning, coordination, and execution of campaigns that make a real impact across the borough. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team in a flexible, hybrid role – working primarily from home with at least one day a week in the office. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for marketing and a desire to grow within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include social media scheduling, content creation, website editing, supporting brand planning, and delivering email marketing campaigns. You'll also assist with campaign reporting and may occasionally attend events to represent the team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same – you’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks to help support the overall success of our marketing efforts.

We are seeking a creative and vibrant Marketing Assistant to support our dynamic team across multiple brands and campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong written and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a variety of tasks in both team-based and independent working environments. A degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent career experience, is desirable. The role requires someone who can bring fresh ideas and energy to our marketing efforts, with a keen eye for detail. Experience in graphic design, social media scheduling, e-marketing, and website editing is highly advantageous.

Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.

This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 1 days per week working in the office).

As well as a good salary, we offer a career grade average pension scheme, generous holiday and sick pay entitlements, subsidised parking for work and leisure, public transport discounts, free swimming and gym membership, cycle purchase scheme, plenty of personal and professional development opportunities, flexible working, hybrid working opportunities, Employee Assistance Programme and the opportunity to work with great colleagues.
