The Opportunity:

The University of Edinburgh is a world leader in online and digital education and we are always striving to do more. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager to join our team of multidisciplinary experts in digital education. Working closely with colleagues from across the University and third parties, you will bring a practical and methodical approach to the project management of our digital education projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of innovative learning experiences, and to work with a variety of stakeholders alongside our own teams of experts.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. Hybrid working is available with a minimum of two days on campus primarily at Argyle House, 3 Lady Lawson Street, Edinburgh. The needs of the role, team and individual will be considered when agreement working arrangements.

From 1st August 2025 the salary range for this post is £40,497 to £48,149 per annum.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Demonstrable project management experience with a track record of successful project or change delivery.
Excellent people skills with experience of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience of developing and maintaining project plans, which mitigate risks and manage issues, so that projects are delivered successfully.
Effective communication skills both oral and written, with the ability to collate and present information to others.
Ability to influence and adapt to achieve the best outcomes.
