Summary
Job Title: I-Base Manager – part-time Friday – 5/6 hours - please also see the 360 Team Leader role (4 days of week)Salary: OCL SCP 24 - 28 + LGPS (£34,314– £37,938 FT equivalent)

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our successful team at Oasis Academy Brislington.
Who We Are
Oasis Academy Brislington is part of the Oasis Community Learning family, a multi-academy trust with the express purpose of transforming schools into community hubs, through applying a holistic view of education.
This is an exciting time to join us at Oasis Brislington, under the leadership of newly appointed Principal. We are a large and oversubscribed secondary academy with 1,400 students on roll. The academy was inspected by OFSTED in October 2021 and was categorised as a ‘Good’ school by the inspection team.

The Role
To co-ordinate the IBASE support provision for students in need of help in overcoming barriers to learning and developing their potential by raising standards of behaviour for learning.
How IBase operates
IBase is internal exclusion from lessons after a student fails to re-engage with learning after being given various ‘chances’ to be ready to learn.
IBase is a serious sanction when students are isolated from their lessons for a period of 1 day or more. Students complete work from their lessons that day in silence under the supervision of the IBASE Manager. Students take break and lunch at separate times to the rest of the Academy.
The Successful Candidate
Do you have the passion and skills to change the lives of young people in South Bristol by becoming an influence who believes, makes a difference and supports our students to achieve beyond their expectations? The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships
• Be a good team player upholding Academy systems, culture and expectations• Have an experience of working within education establishment
• Have good level of ICT skills, i.e., Microsoft Package
• Be able to demonstrate flexibility and very good organisational skills
• Have emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
• Have a good sense of humour
