Summary
Our client is currently looking for a Facilities Manager for a local company based in Northampton.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00pm and Friday 08.00-13.00pm.
Job role involves -
• Gantry servicing and reports.
• Forklift maintenance.
• Arrange forklift training, share certs for personnel files.
• Roller Shutter door servicing.
• Waste Management.
• Pressure vessel testing.
• Pest control.
• Machine maintenance records.
• Racking inspections.
• Noise assessment every year.
• Air monitoring assessments.
• LEV testing and report filing.
• Gas appliance testing.
• Legionell a/water treatment testing and records.
• PAT testing.
• Fire system servicing.
• Fire extinguisher maintenance, replacements and records.
• Security for both units, ADT, Secom, SAS. Maintenance, records and key holder contact.
• Aircon maintenance and records.
• Scrap metalremoval and or skip hires.
• Mobile phone management (contract and handsets).
• Landline phone system management.
• Office Cleaner contact.
• Arrange site gardening.
• CCTV management - install and manage.
• Master key holder/key safe.
• Vehicle hire.
• Vehicle insurance amendments.
• Vending machine management.
• Car park management.
• Weekend callouts.
• BOC Tank and changes.
• Offsite Storage arranging.
• Van Driver.
Health and Safety
• Employers' liability certificate displaying.
• File Risk assessments.
• Arrange forklift training, share certs for personnel files.
• Accident record keeping.
• Near miss investigations, evidence and reporting.
• HSE contact.
• RIDDOR reporting.
HR
• Disciplinary investigations and meetings.
• Staff Dismissals.
• Inductions.
IT
• ITcontact and internal troubleshooting.
• EDI/ASN tester for JLR onboarding compliance.
• Advanced Factory master knowledge.
• lntouch.
• Modify crystal reports.
Purchasing
• Key supplier certificates up to date.
• IATF Audito r - internal/external.
• Oversee all purchasing.
• Key supplier contact.
• Stock management.
Sales
• Sales order processing.
Additional
• Lunches organiser.
• Can shut presses down safety and correctly.
• Knowledge of tooling and repairs.
