Job Description: Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Winsford site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform loading and unloading of vehicles during night shift operations, ensuring timely and secure handling of goods in accordance with company procedures.
- Carry out manual handling tasks, including the breakdown of pallets and the accurate sorting of customer orders, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Execute efficient order picking based on customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all selections.
- Operate forklift trucks, including both Counterbalance and Reach Trucks, to support warehouse operations. A valid and up-to-date forklift truck licence is essential for this role.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to a safe and productive night operation.
Required Experience:
- Hold a current Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
