Summary

Job Title: Wedding Waiting Staff
Location: Batcombe, Shepton Mallet
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Duration: One-day Event
Start Date: Friday 1st August 2025

We are looking for professional and personable Wedding Waiting Staff to support a large outdoor wedding celebration in Shepton Mallet on 1st August 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-quality event with 180 guests, where great service and a welcoming attitude will make all the difference.

The Job:
• Circulating with canapé boards and offering reception drinks during welcome service
• Serving mains and possibly dessert to tables (sharing-style format)
• Clearing plates, glassware, and serveware from tables
• Counting and checking off serveware post-service
• Assisting with loading and unloading where needed

The Requirements:
• A professional, yet at-ease and friendly approach — we want guests to feel comfortable while still delivering high standards
• Ability to work efficiently and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Attention to detail and willingness to support the wider team

Dress Code:
• Black trousers
• White, ironed shirts
• Black, polished shoes — no trainers permitted
• Hair should be neat and tidy
• Nail varnish must be neat and not chipped
• Aprons may be provided on-site for specific lifting tasks
