Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant - About the Role

Salary: Up to £550 per week (term time only)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role
Contract: Long-term role starting immediately or September 2025
Focus: Supporting Maths across KS3–KS4, including GCSE preparation

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting in Maths lessons and leading small group interventions
• Providing tailored one-to-one support to students who need extra help
• Helping to plan and deliver engaging and accessible learning content
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress and building their confidence in Maths
• Working closely with teaching staff and the pastoral/SEN team

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For

• A 2:1 or above in Mathematics or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working with young people is a bonus, but not essential
• A professional, reliable, and proactive approach
