Duration: 3 months – to be reviewed Start Date: 7th July 2025 End Date: 7th October 2025 Working Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week Pay Rate: £14.02 PAYE / £18.00 Umbrella
About the Role
We are currently seeking a capable and proactive Business Support Officer (BR6) to support the Permanency Service at Bromley Council. This is a full-time, office-based role for someone who enjoys structure, thrives on organisation, and is ready to hit the ground running on a variety of key administrative tasks.
✨ Key Responsibilities
Carrying out reference checks and data collation for the Permanency Service
Minuting operational meetings with accuracy and confidentiality
Uploading documents and information to internal systems
Coordinating and preparing documents for panels and case reviews
Providing general administrative support across the service
✅ What You'll Need
Excellent IT skills, including confidence with databases and document systems
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
Minuting experience and attention to detail in formal settings
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A calm and flexible approach in a busy professional setting
