Description
The Safeguarding Business Support Officer (BR7) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures within our organization. This position serves as a linchpin in the coordination of safeguarding initiatives, providing vital administrative support to the safeguarding team. The officer will work closely with various departments to navigate the complexities of safeguarding, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and best practices. We are seeking an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding principles. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting case management processes, and facilitating training sessions for staff. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders will be essential in fostering a culture of safety and protection. Moreover, you will be instrumental in driving improvements in safeguarding practices by analyzing data and identifying trends. Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support for safeguarding case management and reporting processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safeguarding records and documentation.
Coordinate training sessions and workshops related to safeguarding practices for staff.
Collaborate with external agencies and organizations regarding safeguarding referrals and concerns.
Prepare reports and presentations on safeguarding activities and outcomes for senior management.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in safeguarding practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in a safeguarding or support role within a relevant field.
Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with diverse stakeholder groups.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and identify trends.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for data management.
