Summary

To manage a complex caseload of gastroenterology patients who require home enteral nutrition. Including providing advice on tube care, administration of feeds and ordering and to co-ordinate service improvement projects in conjunction with the clinical lead in this area. 2. To manage a complex caseload of patients in their own homes and in outpatient clinics who require specialist nutrition support and to co-ordinate service improvement projects in conjunction with the clinical lead in this area. 3. To manage a complex caseload of gastroenterology outpatients, working in close liaison with the gastroenterology dietetics team and to co-ordinate service improvement projects in conjunction with the clinical lead in this area. 4. To manage a caseload of patients with coeliac disease residing in care homes provide specialist dietetic support to a small number of care home patients and to co-ordinate service improvement projects in conjunction with the clinical lead in this area. This will include facilitating annual reviews and delivering training to the care home staff. 5. To have a very good understanding of and contribute to the effective running of the community dietetics service.
