At Third Space, FP&A is a strategic partner to the business. This role plays a crucial role in shaping strategy, uncovering opportunities, and driving performance across the organisation. This is an integral role within our finance team reporting into the Head of FP&A, working closely with senior leadership and with oversight over the full business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with functional heads to develop, review and analyse budgets and forecasts
- Support delivery of long-range planning
- Build a deep understanding of the business, key drivers and financial model
- Proactively provide analysis and insights to support performance management, highlighting and managing risks and opportunities
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership – delivering actionable insights to support decision-making, drive financial performance and enhance member experience
- Prepare business cases to support investments and business initiatives, including ROI analysis, sensitivity analysis and post-investment appraisals
- Manage long-term cash flow forecasting to support financial planning and resource allocation
- Aid in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, ensuring data integrity and automation
- Develop and mentor the FP&A Analyst, helping to enhance capability within the team
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in FP&A roles, ideally in a multi-site business
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a commercial mindset and strong business acumen
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable collaborating across all levels of the organisation
