Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Lighting Manager (PO7) to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of lighting systems for various projects. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure that our lighting designs align with the artistic vision and technical specifications of each project. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of lighting technologies and techniques, as well as experience managing teams and budgets. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative lighting concepts that enhance the overall ambiance and functionality of spaces, from theaters and event venues to corporate environments and public installations. Your leadership will be critical in coordinating with project stakeholders, managing schedules, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying updated on industry trends and advancements in lighting technology to ensure our designs remain cutting-edge and efficient. Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative lighting concepts for various projects.
Manage and coordinate lighting team during all phases of project development and implementation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to lighting installations.
Maintain accurate budgets and timelines for lighting projects, ensuring delivered results meet quality standards.
Collaborate with directors, stage managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
Research and stay updated on the latest lighting technologies and trends in the industry.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of lighting equipment and systems after installation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Theatre Arts, or a related field.
Proven experience in lighting design and project management in a similar role.
Strong understanding of lighting technology, including LED, fiber optics, and traditional lighting systems.
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams and coordinating project workflows.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
Proficient in computer-aided design software and lighting design applications.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Day: £214.20
