Our client, a well-loved and long-established early years setting, is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team. The nursery is proudly set within a beautifully converted house, offering a nurturing and homely environment for both children and staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 qualified nursery professional with previous experience as a Nursery Manager, who has successfully led settings through Ofsted inspections, achieving Good or Outstanding ratings. The service values a personable, hands-on leadership style and a commitment to creating a warm, inclusive culture for families and staff alike.

As Nursery Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and compliance. You’ll lead with confidence, compassion, and a genuine passion for early years education.

This is a full-time, permanent role with great opportunities for growth and recognition within a supportive team.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager
  • Strong track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
  • Confident leadership with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A warm, approachable, and professional manner
  • Passion for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive space for young children

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, education, and care for all children
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the EYFS and Ofsted
  • Prepare for and lead successful Ofsted inspections
  • Support staff development through mentoring, supervision, and appraisals
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers
  • Oversee nursery budgets and administrative duties
  • Promote the nursery’s ethos and values across the setting
