Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their stunning, purpose-built luxury nursing home. This beautiful setting offers exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care in a warm, person-centred environment, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a forward-thinking leadership team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Clinical Lead Nurse or existing Deputy Nurse Manager with strong knowledge of CQC standards and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a supportive, inclusive setting.
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical operations, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional standards of care and compliance are upheld. You’ll play a vital role in resident wellbeing, team development, and service improvement.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), requiring a valid UK driving licence and access to a car due to the home’s location.
What You’ll Need
- RGN or RMN qualified, with a valid NMC pin
- Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager in a nursing home setting
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection frameworks
- Experience in residential, nursing, or dementia care
- Excellent clinical, leadership, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for person-centred care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in running the home to the highest clinical and operational standards
- Provide leadership to the nursing and care teams, acting as a role model and mentor
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, medication administration, and safeguarding
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for residents and staff
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Lead on audits, staff supervision, and development initiatives
