Summary
We have a role working across our schools team, with the expected schools being Primary and Nursery Schools. They may also be opportunities to work in Secondary Schools in the future, if this is of interest. Part time working may also be possible.

As a speech and language therapist working in mainstream schools you will support children and young people with varied speech, language and communication needs to reach their potential. You will have a small allocation of schools that you will visit weekly. You will provide specialist assessments, a range of specialist and targeted interventions, and offer training, support and advice to school staff and parents. You will support children with developmental language disorder, autism, speech disorders, complex needs, and other communication difficulties. You will provide a service that considers the needs of children and families from a range of ethnic, linguistic, and neurodiverse backgrounds. You will have access to regular support, clinical supervision and learning opportunities.
