Contract: Initially until 31/8/26St Joseph’s is a welcoming and vibrant, multicultural Catholic Primary School in the heart of Kingston.
The Governing Body are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with lunchtime supervisor responsibilities to our friendly and motivated team of staff. The role will be primarily to provide support in the Early Years/KS1.The successful candidate will work alongside and under the guidance of the class teachers and will play an important role in supporting our children’s learning journey. We are looking for someone who:Has experience of working with childrenIs patient, flexible and enthusiastic with a strong 'can do' attitudeWho enjoys working as part of a teamIs able to show initiative, both in a class setting and when working with small groups/individualsHas a level 2 or above qualification in supporting teaching and learningIn return, we offer a supportive wellbeing package to all staff.Excellent communication, written and oral English skills are essential for this role. This post also includes play/lunchtime supervision which would involve engaging and caring for children in your year group.Applicants are expected to have GCSE or equivalent in at least English and Maths.Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.Closing date: 9th July 2025 at 9.00a.m.
