Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team at the Crossways Federation, in a permanent capacity as a member of lunchbreak supervisor team. We are looking for someone who will enjoy working with children and who will be an enthusiastic, positive and proactive member of the lunchbreak supervisor team6 hrs & 15 mins per week. 11.50 – 1.05pm Monday - Friday, term time only What are we looking for? • An individual who is flexible and enjoys the challenge of responding to meet the needs of the pupils. • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
• Be punctual and reliableThe Lunchbreak Supervisor role will include responsibility for supervising children during lunchtimes. This will include when the children are eating their lunch and when they are playing (either indoors or outdoors – weather dependent). Main Responsibilities are: • To support the full care of the children encourage children to eat their lunch including understanding and adhering to the systems when children have dietary requirements.
• Ensure acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained.
• Assist in setting up and tidying away play/activity equipment.
• Administering basic first aid and recording incidents in the first aid book as appropriate and provide necessary correspondence to the parent/carer.We can offer you: • Well behaved, enthusiastic children
