Lead with Purpose in a Beautiful, Modern Nursery Where Quality and Care Come First
Our client is a well-resourced and vibrant nursery, offering a modern and thoughtfully designed environment that supports free-flow play, exploration, and learning. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in early years management and a passion for creating an inclusive, high-quality learning environment.
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the setting. You’ll provide visionary leadership to the team, maintain high standards of care and education, and ensure the nursery continues to deliver excellent outcomes for children.
You will also play a key role in preparing for Ofsted inspections, with a proven ability to achieve and maintain ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings.
What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or equivalent leadership role in an early years setting.
- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and current childcare legislation.
- A track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A child-focused, inclusive, and nurturing approach.
What’s on Offer
- Access to a comprehensive healthcare plan.
- Employee benefits portal offering discounts on shopping, travel, and wellbeing services.
- Competitive pension scheme.
- Ongoing training and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team, creating a warm, inclusive, and professional culture.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of an engaging curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ensure the nursery operates to the highest standards in line with all regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
- Maintain excellent safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection practices.
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
- Drive professional development and mentoring across the team.
