Minister of Religion- Evangelism & Mission
Christ Light Assemblies UK (CLASS UK), a multinational and independent Pentecostal Christian religious organisation based in Erith, Kent area of England, is seeking to fill the vacant role of a minister to take charge of our evangelism and mission ministry of the church. This role is fundamental to fulfilling our evangelistic mission that CLASS UK stands for: “To Go ye into the World and Preach the Gospel”.
Job Role: Minister - Evangelism & Mission
Reporting to: Minister-in-Charge
Location: Erith, Greater London, UK
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
Managing the evangelism and mission ministry of the church in liaison and as directed by the Minister-in-Charge.
Develop and coordinate outreach, missionary and evangelistic programmes aimed at aimed at propagating the Christian gospel message in accordance to the beliefs of CLASS UK
Develop and coordinate the implementation of missionary projects within the UK which are exclusively charitable and connected with the vision and missionary work of CLASS UK according to the laws of England and Wales.
Organise and implement publicity and outreach programmes to spread the Christian gospel message within the immediate and wider community of CLASS UK.
Support in driving the growth and expansion of the Church through evangelistic and outreach activities within the community.
Preach and teach the Word of God in scheduled church services whenever required in
accordance to the biblical beliefs and teachings of CLASS UK.
Support in Officiating during Holy Communion, marriage blessing ceremonies, funeral services, baby christenings and other special services.
Assist the Pastor-in-Charge in the overall administration of the church and other specific assignments as directed by the Minister-In-Charge.
Interested applicants must be:
An ordained and practising Christian and minister within Pentecostal Christian environment.
Must be experienced of community evangelism and missionary work within a Pentecostal Christian environment.
Experienced in relevant publicity and outreach activities.
Have the willingness and ability to work as part of a team
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high energy and a positive attitude.
Have a degree or its equivalent preferably in a social-science or humanities discipline.
Knowledge and ability to communicate in at least one other language other than English will be desirable.
Duration of employment: Permanent. Working Hours: Full time (35h/w). Highly Flexible 5 days that will of necessity include Sundays, evenings and weekends.
Salary: £22,500 PA
