Summary
Promote, monitor and maintain best practice in health, safety and security. Identify the risks involved in work activities and processes, how to manage the risk and how to help others to manage the risk. Undertake work activities consistent with legislation, policies and procedures and the assessment and management of risk. Monitor work areas and practice and ensure they are safe, free from hazards and conform to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines. Take the necessary action in relation to risks. Identify how health, safety and security can be improved and take action to put this into effect. Contribute to ensuring team working practices are in line with the requirements of the appropriate professional bodies, national legislation and Trust policies and procedures. People Management Plan, allocate and supervise the work of a team. Personal and people development - develop oneself and contribute to the development of others.
