Summary
Accounts Assistant
We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role will involve a variety of tasks to support the business's financial operations and client accounts, with first-class training provided to help you succeed.
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
A little bit about the role
Process financial transactions on client matters with accuracy
Post payments, receipts, and transfers promptly
Set up payments (Cheques, BACS, TT) on online banking platforms
Allocate funds received into the bank account
Ensure compliance with company policies for client account payments
Address and resolve fee earner queries
Assist with bank reconciliations
Perform additional ad hoc duties as needed
Getting to Know You
Prior experience in an office or accounts team
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Numerically proficient with GCSE-level education
Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines
High accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
