Background

Are you an organised, people-focused problem-solver with a passion for supporting students? Ready to join a dynamic team at the heart of the university experience?

We are looking for a Course Administrator to help deliver smooth, supportive, and high-quality services for both students and staff. In this varied and rewarding role, no two days are the same. Whether you are guiding a student through a challenging deadline or helping coordinate a key course event, your contribution will directly support student success and enhance the overall experience. You will be part of a friendly, collaborative team that is committed to making a difference.

What will you be doing?

As a Course Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for student and staff enquiries, providing friendly and efficient support that keeps everything running smoothly. You will manage a range of key administrative processes – from exceptional circumstances and late submissions to field trip coordination and student communications. Working across apprenticeships, partnerships, and short courses, you will play an essential role in supporting academic delivery. You will also contribute to wider student activities like inductions, attendance monitoring, and prize administration – helping to build a seamless and supportive student journey from enrolment to graduation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who thrives on making things happen. You will be a confident, organised professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Whether juggling deadlines, solving problems, or supporting students and staff, you bring a calm, proactive approach and a commitment to getting things right. Comfortable with digital systems and quick to learn, you communicate clearly, collaborate well, and take real pride in your work. If you are someone who enjoys being at the heart of a fast-moving academic environment, we would love to hear from you!

How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible. We work in a hybrid way that ensures we are flexible to both business and individual needs and remain connected to each other and our campuses. In practice, this means a mix of days working in Canterbury alongside the flexible choice of working from home if that suits you. Occasionally, you may attend one of our other campuses.
