Summary
Job Title: Experienced Plumber – 2nd Fix (New Build School Project)
Location: West London
Pay Rate: £27.50 per hour (£220 per day)
Duration: 2 months (fixed-term contract)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team on an exciting new build school project in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tradesperson looking for a short-term contract with a well-established construction company.
Your primary focus will be on 2nd fix plumbing, ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard, on time, and within safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform 2nd fix plumbing works including fitting pipework, sanitaryware, heating components, and final connections
• Read and interpret plumbing plans and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the project
• Report any issues or defects promptly to site management
Candidate Requirements
• Must hold a valid Blue CSCS card
• Fully equipped with standard PPE (hard hat, safety boots, high-vis vest, gloves)
• Own a full set of standard 2nd fix plumbing tools
• Proven experience in 2nd fix plumbing, preferably on new build projects
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Additional Information
• The site is located in West London (W8 5BN)
• Please note there is no onsite parking; pay and display parking is available nearby at £4 per hour
• This is a fixed-term contract for 2 months, with potential for future projects based on performance
• Working hours are standard daytime shifts, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
