Summary
Supporting the EPR Programme Director in the development and implementation of the unified EPR system across South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust ensuring that its delivery is fit for purpose and is aligned to and supports the Trusts strategic objectives and future service models. This is one of the Trusts high profile programmes of digital clinical transformation, so we require a Programme Lead with energy, passion and the resilience to manage the complexities and high risks involved in this critical programme of work.
Supporting the EPR Programme Director in developing and maintaining an overall EPR Programme Plan with supporting governance and reporting procedures focussing on management by exception, grip, risks to delivery and quality and accountability.

Working with the workstream leads in ensuring there is effective management and partnership with relevant stakeholder groups.
Working with the Programme Director in preparing information and Project Reports for the EPR Programme Board. This extends to identifying challenges and areas of slippage in the project and programme structures.
Working with the Programme Director to build the organisational readiness and appropriate condition that will enable a smooth transition of the transformational change from programme to business as usual.
The post holder will work with the Programme Team, ensuring that a person/patient centric view is at the heart of the programme. As the programme aims to transform the delivery of health care across the Trust, the wider needs of our population will be a core component and must underpin the development of the new EPR solution.

Maudsley Hospital(headquarters)
Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2) and is within walking distance from the beautiful green spaces of Ruskin park and the vibrant high-street that offers great shopping opportunities and with a wide range restaurants.
St Pauls
St Pauls is located within the Bromley area and is less than 10 minutes from the train stations (Bromley South, Bromley North and Shortlands) It is within walking distance from the beautiful green spaces of Bromley Park and the vibrant high-street that offers great shopping opportunities and with a wide range restaurants.
Bethlem Royal Hospital
Bethlem Royal Hospital is based in a beautiful setting in over 200 acres of green space in the London Borough of Bromley, South East London. The hospital has easy access to nearby main roads and have offers free parking. The site is within walking distance from of Eden Park and West Wickham overland stations.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication
Work with all internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships that engage with the design and delivery of the EPR Programme.
Be competent in the provision of high-quality written communication including producing reports for the wider use e.g. Trust Board and associated Subgroups and Committees.
Analytical and Planning
Responsible for the development of Programme Plans for the Readiness and implementation Phases of the EPR programme.
Responsible for ensuring Risks and Issues are appropriately documented, managed and escalated as required to the SRO.
Responsible for all Programme reporting requirements for the EPR programme.
Interpret data from a variety of sources to offer recommendations on overall Programme and workstream delivery and service reconfiguration across the organisations.
Policy and Service Development
Work alongside suppliers to develop systems and services to integrate and support the implementation and digital transformation.
Support cultural and behavioural change across the Trust which will enable a new way of working to be established to improve patient care and service delivery.
Supporting the Programme Director in the Implementation of policies and procedures, monitoring progress against the strategic plan and adjusting plans and strategies in line with a changing environment.
Financial and Physical ResourcesCo-ordinate, monitor and measure supplier or subcontractors involved in the programme to ensure the contracted product / service are developed and delivered as planned.
Staff Management
Onboard programme resources.
Provide line and/or matrix management of staff allocated to the programme, in line with the Trust’s policies and procedures.
Ensure the programme team are equipped and trained to implement the programme.
Ensure that all staff are trained effectively and equipped for the new way of working enabling a smooth implementation.
Information Resources
Supporting the Programme Director in developing and maintaining programme and project systems and processes that contribute/support the Trust’s improvement and transformation programmes.
Develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure services are comprehensively assessed, appropriately planned, effectively implemented and evaluated according to agreed policies, procedures and guidelines.
Undertakes the necessary evidence-based research to inform the development of projects.

Working Conditions
The post holder will be based in an office environment and required to travel regularly across SLaM sites
Working hours may need to be adjusted to meet demands of the programme and or requests for meeting from various stakeholders.
