Summary
Volunteer Non-Executive Director (NED)
Support the board with strategy, oversight, and growth advice to help scale the firm
Role Type:
Part-time, voluntary

Commitment:
Approx. 4–6 hours monthly
Key Duties:
1. Attend board meetings quarterly
2. Advise on strategy, growth, and compliance
3. Share insights on finance and accounting
4. Introduce useful industry contacts and partnerships
5. Support innovation and risk planning
6. Help monitor competitors and market changes
7. Promote innovation and best practices
Ideal Skills:
1. Business expertise
2. Board or senior leadership experience
3. Understanding of SME business challenges
4. Digital/tech-savvy
5. Strong advisory and communication skills
6. Strategic thinker with business acumen
