Summary
As a Home Care Support Worker, You must be able to drive and own a car as you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, medication, and emotional wellbeing, while building meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Support with medication administration (including EMAR documentation)
Assist with mobility and transfers
Prepare meals and support with nutrition
Offer companionship and emotional support
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the office team
Follow care plans and report any changes in client condition
Respect confidentiality and uphold safeguarding standards
