• Embeds inclusive practice across planning, lesson delivery and SEND reviews.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure consistency and impact.
• Engages in mentoring, coaching and professional development to deliver high-quality teaching.
• Has a clear understanding of the progress and needs of SEND and vulnerable pupils in their class.
• Prioritises rapid improvements in SEND provision, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Contributes to a joyful, inclusive school climate grounded in values, faith and excellence.
• Ensures full compliance with safeguarding, SEND and wellbeing policies and standards.
• Delivers an engaging, creative curriculum that connects with PSCHE and the 'Navigate' programme.
• Builds strong, supportive relationships with parents of SEND and vulnerable pupils, involving them as partners.
• have attained a high level of proficiency in the core professional standards ofteaching, particularly in the teaching of phonics, reading, writing and maths;
• are analytical and can demonstrate significant impact on pupil learning in previous positions;
• have great leadership skills but are also effective team players;
• are committed to school improvement and to the development of teaching and learning through partnerships with other schools;
• have experience of curriculum leadership;
• are committed to safeguarding children and are suitable to work with them;
• would be positive & enthusiastic role models for our pupils.
