Are you a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in British Sign Language (BSL)? A forward-thinking secondary school in Camden is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their inclusive SEN provision and support students with hearing impairments.

This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity involves working 1:1 and in small groups with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. As a key support figure, your BSL expertise will be vital in helping students access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Supporting students with hearing impairments in mainstream lessons and specialist sessions
• Using BSL to facilitate communication and learning
• Adapting resources and liaising with the Hearing Impairment team
• Working closely with SENCO, teachers, and external specialists
• Promoting inclusion, engagement, and student confidence

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant For this Camden School:
• Qualified or experienced in BSL (minimum Level 2 preferred)
• Previous experience supporting students with hearing loss or communication needs
• Passionate about inclusive education and accessibility
• Patient, empathetic, and professional
• Available full-time from now through to July 2025 and beyond
