Summary
We have vacancy for 2 Nursing Assistants to join our Gynaecology Nursing team. we have 3 base sites Wansbeck, North Tyneside and Hexham with Emergency Gynaecology at Cramlington and Ward 8 at North Tyneside. Hours and Base sites will be discussed at successful interview and acceptance.
Your role will be to assist the qualified nurses in the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and give basic nursing care
Manage own healthcare led clinics, using good time management and interpersonal skills under direct supervision of Nurse in Charge.
Providing support for patients attending the outpatient setting, assistance with any mobility needs under direct or indirect supervision. To report accurately perceived changes in a patient manner, observation. Record basic observations for patients attending the department.
The post holder will be based in one of our Base sites but will be required to work across all base sites and on occasion within Emergency Gynaecology at the Northumbria as part of the wider Gynaecology Nursing team.
All Training will be given in clinical areas.

To assist the qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and indirect patient care. To provide assistance and support to patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team.
To maintain high clinical standards, manage own healthcare led clinics, using good time management and interpersonal skills under direct supervision of Nurse in Charge.
To help maintain a clean and safe ward environment, be responsible for checking stock levels and ordering supplies via our IPROC system all training will be given.
