Summary



We are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias to work on a prestigious College of Policing site in Ryton work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment.



Main Duties

-Undertake LED Lighting and electrical installations.

-Working closely with the Lighting Project team, sub-contractors, and Project Manager to meet completion targets set for a particular project.

-Ability to work nights and stay away from home as majority of work will be carried out outside of normal working hours.

-Work to electrical drawings e.g., installation, circuit diagrams and line schematics.

-Produce a quality end product first time with no re-work required.

-Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.

What we are looking for
-Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations

-2383-18 18th Edition Update

-2391-52 Test and Inspection desirable, not essential - full training will be given

-SSSTS Accreditation - desirable, not essential - full training will be given

-Knowledge of EV charging units - desirable, not essential - full training will be given

-IPAF - Desirable and full training will be given

-PASMA - Desirable and full training will be given

-Must be able to work nights and stay away from home as the majority of work will be carried out outside of normal working hours Mon-Fri.

-Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg

-Ability to effectively prioritise own workload

-Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation

-Full UK driving licence

-Strong customer care focus

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to problem solve

-Adapt to technical changes within the industry and attend training courses should they be required.

-To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time

-To understand and comply with policies and procedures

-To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner

-Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

-To be responsible for company vehicle and all materials on board

-Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager
