Summary
Are you passionate about creating handcrafted kitchen and home accessories? We are currently seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as our Workshop Assistant in deVOL's Metalware department.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work in a creative and positive workshop environment, assisting with the production and fine finishing of our range of beautiful handcrafted brassware products.
While some knowledge and experience in metal techniques would be beneficial, it is not required, as we provide comprehensive training to all our team members.
As a Workshop Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the finishing of a diverse range of handmade brassware products.
- Utilising various processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Learning how to apply our wide range of patinas and living finishes.
- Use a variety of hand tools.
To excel in this role, we'd love you to have:
- A genuine passion for hands-on work.
- Basic practical skills.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Some knowledge and experience with metal techniques (preferred but not essential).
- An eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills.
This position is well-suited for recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience. During your first year, you will receive training in the role and performance appraisals. After this, we offer annual pay reviews and continued support from the team.
