Are you an experienced SEN tutor looking for a new role?

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a SEN tutor based in our Oldbury centre.

As an SEN tutor, your role will be to support small groups of learners in the classroom with their functional skills & ICT to help develop their independence and improve the skills of young people for their individual futures. The learner’s individual needs can range from mild to moderate educational needs and/or disabilities.

You will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs and will be committed to ensuring that all students have access to high quality education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

To Develop and assess to the appropriate levels to support the learners’ ability to work confidently, effectively and independently in life and work
Develop delivery in order to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
Support the learner with their additional needs whilst encouraging and motivating them to attain high levels of achievements.
To plan and deliver a creative curriculum that meets the needs of individual students
Build effective relationships with learners, parents/carers and staff.
Achieve company KPI’s and Individual Performance Plan

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in 14-24 provision.
Full Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, PTLLS, DTLLS,)
Experience of teaching students within the field of Autism and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN)
To be a patient, resilient and motivated individual.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Have vision, innovation and passion for teaching and learning.
Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
