Job Opportunity: Housing Assistant (Grade B) – Full-Time (2-Month Contract)
Full-Time (Office-Based)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected housing provider in North Nottinghamshire, we are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Housing Assistant to join their team for a two-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community while gaining valuable public sector experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide high-quality clerical, administrative, and reception services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and housing applicants.
- Manage the termination of tenancies, including receiving and processing returned keys.
- Register, update, assess, and maintain Housing Register applications.
- Support the annual Housing Register review and handle website messages and change of circumstance requests.
- Offer initial advice to those in housing need and signpost customers to appropriate services.
- Assist with reception cover and handle both face-to-face and telephone enquiries.
- Process garage applications and perform general housing administration tasks.
About You:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
Confident in handling sensitive information with discretion.
Previous experience in housing or a customer-facing role is desirable.
Able to start on or before 14th July 2025 and commit until 1st September 2025.
