Summary

Telent's Infrastructure Services team, part of the Network Services division, is looking for a Service Support & Hot Job Coordinator to support Fibre Build project delivery, with a focus on Health & Safety.

This hybrid/agile role requires travel to either our Warwick or Chorley office at least one day per week, with home working flexibility. A full UK driving license is preferred.

This is a pivotal role requiring a strong background in administration and coordination. You will monitor and maintain SLA compliance for critical jobs, validate processes, and manage Health & Safety-related activities. You'll support the PMO & Service Control team by ensuring third-party implementation consistently meets performance criteria. You'll also handle emergency and welfare job orders, ensuring timely responses, and work with multiple external stakeholders to ensure critical deliveries are completed on schedule.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate utility prints, hazard checks, and obtain permissions for Telent and subcontractor site activities
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and third-party asset owners to secure safe work permissions
  • Support and maintain performance frameworks that align with business goals and drive improvements
  • Manage third-party partners to deliver training, processes, and validation tools
  • Ensure accurate, high-quality data through handling both qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Oversee work order creation in collaboration with subcontractors and Supplier Managers
  • Continuously improve processes and systems, documenting and communicating changes
  • Ensure compliance with local authority and statutory Streetworks legislation
  • Meet or exceed all client and internal KPIs
  • Maintain data accuracy and process compliance across teams and depots
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Provide demand plans to align requirements with available capacity for efficient delivery
  • Apply analysis techniques to address high-priority issues
  • Work independently while knowing when to escalate or seek guidance
  • Contribute actively to the team's performance
  • Perform other duties as required

Who you are:

You are a proactive, self-motivated professional with strong data analysis and communication skills. You work independently and collaboratively, adapt well to change, and focus on continuous improvement. You're process-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable at managing multiple priorities. A great opportunity for an experienced Administrator looking to step up, or a Coordinator who is ready to grow.

Key requirements:

  • Analyse and present data clearly to support better decision-making
  • Identify and help implement process improvements
  • Confidently apply technical knowledge relevant to the role
  • Ensure adherence to process standards and quality checks
  • Gather, clean, and maintain accurate and reliable data
  • Understand working within constraints and follow privacy/security protocols
  • Preferably hold City & Guilds or NRSWA Coordination of Streetworks certification - Advantageous to have but NOT essential
  • Knowledge of safe digging, pipelines, and welfare considerations is advantageous to have
  • Organise and prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS Teams, and relevant technical tools
  • Self-driven, flexible, and aligned with Telent's values and culture
  • Willing to go the extra mile and embrace training opportunities
