Summary
Job Purpose ;
To maintain and repair the plant and equipment on site through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities ;
• Conducting routine inspections of equipment
• Performing Preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing Mechanical and electrical issues and correcting them
• Ensure quick reaction to any breakdowns that occur
• Maintain key spares for equipment and spare items of equipment
• Maintain good level of housekeeping in maintenance room
• Ensure all process equipment is maintained in a safe state
Additional Tasks / Areas for Development ;
• General repair and upkeep of the building infrastructure
• Control of contractors on site
• Maintain accurate records
• Schedule PPM and repairs for equipment
• Produce costed item list for any planned work
Qualifications Required ;
• Formal maintenance/engineering qualification desirable
• Electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent).
