Summary
Your new company
I am currently working with a London-based law firm that is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join the team on a 12-month FTC. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team to assist the finance team on all aspects from management accounts, half-end and year-end audit, budgeting and forecasting, etc. This role reports into the Finance Manager.
Your new role
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reports, assisting with year-end and month-end processes
- Prepare and review monthly cash flow and P&L forecasts
- Assisting with annual revenue and expenditure budgeting
- Collaborate with other business departments, providing guidance on financial information and data
- Assist with annual audit including preparation of statutory accounts, liaise with external stakeholders
- Provide and present financial management information to support legal groups and other partners to lead their practices
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ICAEW, CAANZ, ACCA, FCCA, CIMA) with legal or consultancy sector experience
- Experienced with accounting principles and reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- Influence key stakeholders and challenge business growth and change
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Power BI is desirable
