For the successful Operations Manager, our client is offering:
Starting salary of £60,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, Days role

Lead and oversee daily operations at the Darlington mill, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency
Drive a high-performance culture and foster continuous improvement across all departments, including production, transport, and maintenance
Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and boost reliability
Maintain mill costs within budget while reporting KPIs to the Board of Directors
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, business policies, and legal requirements
Lead strategic initiatives to support business growth and uphold the company’s industry-leading reputation
Promote operational best practices and drive improvements to systems and processes
Extensive experience in feed mill management – ESSENTIAL
Strong leadership and team development skills – ESSENTIAL
IT literate with good knowledge of data reporting systems – ESSENTIAL
Engineering or mechanical knowledge – DESIRABLE
Degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field – DESIRABLE
A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to lead by example
