Key Purpose of Role: To lead on operational systems across all schools including catering, contract management and facilities.
As a key leader of the trust you will help to deliver an outstanding service to our schools and pupils and ensure a safe environment for all our learners.
Reporting to: CFOO
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Support the CFOO in management of key contracts and Service Level Agreements ensuring delivery of performance and value for money
Support with the negotiation of contracts on behalf of the trust
Maintain a contract register for the trust on behalf of schools
Maintain a control log for the business continuity plans for all schools
Develop and implement a high quality, innovative catering service that aligns with the Trustandrsquo;s vision and objectives. Ensuring nutritional meals to all our pupils to support their leaning and well-being
Review catering performance for all schools and support catering teams to improve efficiency
Lead on the procurement of catering supplies ensuring quality of service and value for money
Negotiation of performance outcomes, for both in-house and external catering providers
Develop nutritional and innovative menu plans for our schools
Ensure all schools adhere to food hygiene and service standards
Provide training and support to catering teams and advise on training requirements for all staff
To develop reporting metrics and KPI on the catering performance across the trust
To be responsible for the Handamp;S across all facilities, ensuring all equipment is inspected and hygiene standards adhered to.
Provide dietary advice and support for special diets obtaining advice on behalf of schools
Develop and maintain an asset plan to ensure our facilities are well maintained and invested
Develop and implement policies to ensure all nutritional standards and latest food guidance are adhered to
Any other duties of a similar nature related to the post which may be required from time to time.
