Summary
Millfield School is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer/Administrator to join our pastoral team from September 2025.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to support student wellbeing and academic success through excellent attendance management. Working closely with pastoral leaders, house teams, and families, you will monitor daily attendance and punctuality, analyse trends, help implement support strategies, and ensure accurate reporting and communication throughout the school.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident working with data, experienced in handling sensitive information, and enjoys collaborating with both staff and students to make a meaningful difference.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong administrative and IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• A warm, professional approach to working with young people and families
• Previous experience in a school or similar pastoral setting
If you’re ready to join a vibrant and supportive school community where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a term time position working 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-2.30pm.
The role offers a salary of £15,823.08 per annum (inclusive of statutory holiday pay), plus an array of staff benefits including freshly prepared lunches for only £10 per month, access to school facilities, and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.
