Band 5 - Salary Range £33,247 - £41,424 per annum (pro rata) plus
Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum (pro rata)

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our pharmacy team, as a registered pharmacy technician in Primary Care Pharmacy.
We are a fast evolving team, striving to deliver pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients living across Shetland in innovative ways.
Pharmacy Technicians fulfil a vital role within the pharmacy team and will help deliver an enhanced pharmacy service and be involved in supporting the delivery of the pharmacotherapy service to our health centres.
The post holder will be based within our pharmacy hub and within various health centres across Shetland. This post is also available to registered technicians wishing to work remotely. Day-to-day responsibilities will include, dealing with medicines related queries, carrying out medicines reconciliation and other pharmacotherapy related tasks.
This contract is fixed-term until 31st March 2026 due to funding. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
