As Senior Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of support services at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
In this role, you will ensure that all performance targets are met or exceeded, while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
You are expected to provide leadership to the logistics, portering, and waste management teams outside of core hours, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.
Acting as the primary liaison between the service and the client, you are expected to maintain full compliance with staffing requirements, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and all relevant operational procedures.
The Role
Lead, guide, and support ISS staff to ensure service excellence.
Maintain accurate documentation for HR, training, quality audits, and performance monitoring.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including Trust staff, patients, and visitors.
Monitor service KPIs, prepare operational reports, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and internal policies.
Support payroll processes and enforce accurate staff documentation procedures.
Develop and maintain operational policies, risk assessments, and health & safety standards.
Manage sickness, absenteeism, annual leave, and work allocation in line with HR policies to ensure effective scheduling and consistent service delivery.
