Slinger Signaller in Birmingham
Overview We are seeking a Slinger Signaller in Birmingham for a 9-month project, working 9.5 hours a day. As a Slinger Signaller, you will be responsible for directing crane operators during lifting operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the process.
Responsibilities
- Direct the crane operators during lifting operations, acting as their "eyes and ears" on the ground
- Attach and detach the load to the crane, ensuring it is secured and balanced
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on the construction site
Qualifications
- Must have Blue CPCS certification
- Proven experience as a Slinger Signaller in a construction environment
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and crane signals
Day-to-day
- Communicate effectively with crane operators and ground workers
- Inspect and maintain lifting equipment
- Coordinate with the site supervisor to ensure smooth operations
