Crane Supervisor in Birmingham
Overview: We are seeking a Crane Supervisor for a 9-month project in Birmingham. The role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of cranes and lifting equipment on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all lifting operations on site
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of cranes and lifting equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of lifting equipment
- Provide guidance and supervision to crane operators and other lifting personnel
- Assist with slinger work when not engaged in crane supervisor duties
Qualifications:
- Blue CPCS certification
- Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of crane and lifting equipment operations and safety procedures
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Day-to-day:
- Supervising lifting operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Conducting equipment inspections and maintenance
- Providing guidance and support to crane operators and lifting personnel
- Assisting with slinger work as needed
