Summary

Sessional Lecturer within Childcare
678 hours for the academic year
£29.51 per hour including holiday pay

An opportunity has arisen to join our team at City College Norwich for a Childcare Sessional Lecturer.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lecturer to join our Childcare team, delivering currently on the Level 1 and 2 qualifications. This opportunity exists for a passionate individual who wants to work in a stimulating and challenging environment to inspire our students to be the best and prepare them for a career in the Childcare sector.

Applicants should ideally have a teaching qualification, degree (or equivalent qualification) and/or recent relevant vocational experience.

You will become part of an efficient and close-knit team who are dedicated to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.



Closing date: Sunday 6th July at Midnight

Interviews: 14th/15th July.



As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
