Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to students with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
• Support students in managing their behaviour and developing strategies for success.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents and external agencies.
• Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

• Be an active member of the Safeguarding Team in the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

• Experience working with young people, dealing with difficult situations relating to poor behaviour.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
