Summary
JOB OVERVIEW
Cranmer Primary School is a good primary school in Mitcham, which is constantly looking to improve. We are seeking an experienced Attendance Officer, who will work across our Partnership of three schools, all based in Mitcham. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of working within a busy school office. The ideal candidate should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, families, staff and visitors. Continuous training will be given to further enhance your development within the school.WHAT WE OFFER
• Flexible Term time hours (39 Weeks PA - Term time plus one additional week for training and policy setting)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrate good communication skills that allow effective communication with our school community (parents, the local authority, school staff, governors, pupils, contractors and 3rd party suppliers).
• At least 2 years’ experience of working in an office environment.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Practical experience in word processing, excel and email.
• A passion for working with children.
YOU WILL HAVE:
• Experience with working with young people.
• The ability to work on own initiative.
• Communication with parents on a professional basis.
• Attainment GCSE’s or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grades A to C
• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
