Summary
Facilitate communication, which results in clear responsibilities being identified within the multi- professional team. There is a requirement to exchange verbal and written information with the patients, staff and carers requiring tact and diplomacy. The post holder needs to ensure that all barriers to understanding are overcome by using strategies to meet individual need. Provided detailed information regarding up-to-date research and processes regarding care, liaising with the critical care research team. Will liaise with clinical experts in aspects of critical care to ensure clinical practice reflects current trends. Communicate with multi discipline's and promote good relationships between the Directorate, other wards, departments and the Critical Care Network It is expected that ALL employees of the Trust will take part in the appraisal process each year with the first appraisal taking place within the first 6 months form appointment.
